Complete the following tasks using the Braves Spreadsheet
from the web site.

1) If a customer purchases 4 upper deck tickets for Friday’s game and gives you a total of 35.00, how much money is left over?

 

2) What is the total cost per seat if they purchase 2 field level seats and 1 outfield seat for next Sunday’s game?

 

3) A customer wants to know what is the best combination of tickets that they can by for $150.00?

  • 3 field level, 2 outfield, and 1 box seats

  • 2 reserved, 3 box seats, and 2 upper deck

  • 3 reserved, 3 upper deck reserved, 2 outfield

 

4) A youth group wants to purchase as many upper deck tickets as they can, how many tickets can the purchase with 68.25?

 

5) What is the total cost with tax of 4 upper deck tickets and 2 box seats?

 

6) Next to the Total Cost column insert another column titled “number of seats”. Then type in the following information in the “number of seats” column:

  • 21,200 (field level)

  • 5,000 (reserved)

  • 24,372 (outfield)

  • 36,284 (upper deck reserved)

  • 3,736 (box seats)

  • 2,734 (upper deck)

  • Insert 6 for each item under “# of Tickets”

 

7) Using the spreadsheet, create a chart (graph) containing the following information:

  • Column labels (SEAT SECTIONS, # OF TICKETS, COST PER TICKET, COST PER SEAT)

  • Names of all 6 seat sections (FIELD LEVEL, RESERVED, OUTFIELD, UPPER DECK RESERVED, BOX SEATS, UPPER DECK)

  • Data in all columns for all 6 seat sections

  • Do not include the “Sales Tax” column, the “Total cost” column, the “# of seats” column, or the “total Cost” row
